THE PRACTICE TEAM

The Practice Nurses

The practice employs two fully qualified practice nurses. Carol Dark RGN, who qualified in 1979 at Guy's Hospital, is a nurse prescriber. Elizabeth Hynes qualified in 2001 at Leeds Metropolitan University. They both attend regular courses and updates on treatment room procedures.

The Practice Manager

Tessa Newby is our practice manager. She is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the surgery and administration of the practice.

The Receptionists

There are five receptionists who have a difficult job with phone calls and enquiries from all directions. When telephoning for medical attention or advice the receptionists may ask for a few details. All reception staff have been trained and make these enquiries in order to help you in the most appropriate way. Please rest assured that the rules of confidentiality apply equally to all practice staff.

Community Nursing

There are district nurses, health visitors and a range of other specialist community nursing services available through the practice. Referrals can be made by the doctor, practice nurse and in some cases directly by patients. If you would like more information please ask at reception. Community nursing staff are part of Central West London NHS Community Services.
